Showers and thunderstorms moving through the East Tuesday will bring an end to the very warm, steamy weather. AccuWeather is forecasting “lower humidity and more pleasant temperatures Wednesday and Thursday.” Western Wales and parts of the United Kingdom continue cleanup efforts after severe flooding hit the region this week. The Weather Channel brings you images of the flood. Rain and a nicer week are hot topics of conversation.

In parts of Ontario, it’s been feeling like the middle of July and the official start to summer is still nine days away. The Weather Network reports “rain moves into Ontario, heat subsides.” The reprieve is a welcome sign before it heats up again come the weekend. Daytime records were broken yesterday in parts of northern Ontario but temperatures will return to seasonal. Southern Ontario can expect high pressure to dominate much of the week after rain and possibly thunderstorms today.
