It’s sizzling in southern Ontario. It’s feeling hot. The temperature in Burlington, Ontario is 29 degrees Celsius around midday and the temperature will likely rise. There’s a slight breeze that might ease temperatures. A heat wave in Ontario is defined as three or more consecutive days with temperatures above 32 degrees Celsius. Could we have another heat wave for the record books?

“We have a very hot air mass from the US Midwest targeting extreme southern Ontario,” explains Gerald Cheng, a meteorologist at The Weather Network. There’s an excellent blog by Christopher C.
